First Clover United Methodist Church is a welcoming community of faith rooted in the love of Jesus Christ. For generations, we have gathered to worship God, grow as disciples, and serve our neighbors in Clover and beyond. We are not a perfect church—but we are a faithful one, seeking to walk together with grace, humility, and hope.
We are people from different backgrounds and life experiences, united by a shared desire to follow Jesus. Some of us have been in church all our lives; others are just beginning to explore faith. Wherever you are on your journey, you belong here.
As a United Methodist congregation, we believe God’s grace is for everyone. We trust in Jesus Christ, who meets us where we are and invites us to grow in love, faith, and service. We believe faith is lived out not only in worship, but in how we care for one another and the world God loves.
Our worship is grounded in Scripture, prayer, music, and thoughtful preaching that connects the Gospel to everyday life. We honor tradition while remaining open to how God continues to move among us today.
Faith does not stop at the church doors. We seek to live out Christ’s love through acts of kindness, service, and compassion—supporting one another in times of joy and hardship, and reaching out to our community with open hearts and willing hands.
